Was It Worth It?

In many a home and from many persons, "Is it worth it?" is so often proclaimed. Rich or poor, successful or unsuccessful, those words ring down the centuries of time.

Well, maybe or maybe not. Each individual alone has to answer that question. We live in a complicated world and at present a complex end-time full of God's plans at work and Satan's plans unraveling in his desperation of time running out and our time beginning. Satan, if he has any intelligence left must be reflecting on his wild folly of wrong choices in his early days of glory in his close fellowship with the Father and Jesus (Ezekiel 28:11-15). And today many have followed his wrong choices and saying, "Was it worth it?"

It is hard to think of something more hard to bear than an offended conscience. Jesus speaks of that when He refers to after death as a place where people who die without Him in their hearts must bear their wounded, grieved conscience, convicting and condemning them unceasingly for all the wrong they did that caused others to suffer, by omission or commission (Mark 9:43,44). Rejecting Christ now while you are alive is all it takes to be in that group.

Jesus is our Savior, He Himself is the forgiveness of all our sins, our remedy, our way to the Father, our way to heaven, our way to peace, our Healer and our Provider.

For the Christian, no matter what happens we are in His loving hands for now and all eternity, secure as we love Him and continue in faith. We will see, as King David so aptly put it, "I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than for all eternity to dwell in the tents of the wicked (Christ rejecters)" (Psalm 84:10). Paul says in Romans they have "no fear of God", brazen sinners who seemingly rejoice in a Sodom and Gomorrah lifestyle, "anything goes" as long as it brings me pleasure.

Can people survive a bad, seared conscience? Well, a recent newspaper report told of the capture of a notorious Boston gangster here in California where he apparently lived the high life on the run from the law for some 15 years and 19 murders and numerous identity changes. Still surviving? Oops, don't forget the thirty guns he had to keep in his cute apartment. Oh, oh! Paul reminds us, "I keep my conscience pure" (1 Timothy 1:5,19; 1 Timothy 3:9) . Great advice Paul. Nothing like having the peace of God in the midst of every storm in this life, knowing you can come boldly before God because Jesus has made you completely eligible. Since you made that firm decision to receive Jesus into your heart He abides in you now and for all eternity - He still forgives sins!

Our heading ". Was is worth it?" Yes, for being in Christ, yes, for trusting in His Word. Yes, for loving fellow believers. Yes, for loving your neighbor as yourself. Yes, for looking for His soon return. Yes, for keeping on saying the Word of God, meditating in it day and night. Do all it says then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success (Joshua 1:8).

MINISTRY UPDATE ...

Through various circumstances and events we have been absent from our usual travelling ministry. Whether it is combination of old age and body management I am not sure but I am learning every day.

Medical tests are one way we can prevent future major problem. Well, in the process for me the doctors discovered I have problems. They said they were all fixable and, of course, with God all is fixable.

At present our ministry is on a personal day to day basis as we pray and minister to people via e-mail, phone and Skype, both here and overseas. We also continue writing books.

And to you who know anything about ministry, and some of you do, know that a pastor without a church and tithers, or a travelling ministry without travelling and offerings is normally less affective. Jesus and the apostles and churches all had partners in New Testament days. We do thank you so much, all who have been so faithful to us and the Lord's work in these days. But as many of you know we have stood on God's Word and know by experience that believing in the heart and confessing with the mouth (Romans 10:9,10) is the way to victory. No matter how the Lord leads we win!

Thank you for standing with me in agreement prayer for my healing and the wisdom to follow the path God has ordained for me to take to deal with these physical problems so that I can resume our travelling ministry. To Him be all the praise and glory forever. Thank you friends and partners. Whatever you do keep your faith strong in the unfailing Word of God! Jesus is your Healer too.

Remember He didn't lift you up to let you down! Eph 2:6.

You've Written To Say ...

"Many thanks for being such a blessing to our family since 1995 when we first met you in the UK. It has been such a divine connection and God has used at various occasions to speak into our lives and we bear testimonies of various prophesies through you which seemed impossible at the time and has come to pass without fail. God indeed has used you tremendously to be such A BIG BLESSING to us and such we thank you all REAL GOOD.

We equally want to use this time to thank you for being able to minister and prophesy to our family in London, the words were specific and accurate, no doubt there is no distance in the spirit realm for God is the ruler of the universe.
We will continue to speak over it and wage a good war of faith on the prophecies over our lives. (1 Timothy 1:18)
Once again, thank you and God richly bless you."
