As I was praying over a request for healing that came to us from a foreign country, the Lord said, "Tell them these two things":First, "put on the whole armor of God" and, secondly, "having done all to stand" (Ephesians 6:10-18).
When you bear in mind that symptoms of sickness and circumstances are the devil's domain that he conjures up; they are not the original problem. Satan and his kingdom are the first cause. Sickness or disease usually carry pain and can lead to ultimate death. Jesus has given us authority to put on the whole armor of God. It is based on the fact that when He rose from the dead on Resurrection morning, God the Father had put all things under His feet and gave him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body (Ephesians 1:22 & 23). And when Jesus rose from the dead we were quickened and made alive together with Him, and we were raised up together with Him to sit together in heavenly places in Him (Ephesians 2:2-6). That is God-ordained authority given to us by Jesus the Head of the Church!
From your position of authority in Him you have been provided with supernatural clothing and weapons to defeat "all the power of the enemy" (Luke 10:19). Put on the whole armor (not part of it): 1) your loins gift about with truth; 2) the breastplate of righteousness; 3) your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 4) the shield of faith; 5) the helmet of salvation; 6) the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Don't forget verse 18: "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance ...". Praying in tongues will build you up on your faith and enable you to persevere through the most difficult situations.
From your position of authority and having on the full armor of God He watches over your words that are in agreement with His Words (soberly and carefully spoken in faith by you), to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12).
The more you progress in the Christian faith the more you prove by experience, as you live a life trusting God's Word, His absolute faithfulness. In Matthew 14:22-31, the event of Jesus and Peter walking on the water, Jesus did not condemn Peter for his step of faith and apparent failure by sinking, but for doubting what He said. We learn by taking steps of faith even if we don't succeed in our efforts. Doubting His Word and continuing in doubt will always lead to failure and sinking. Thank God He is always available to bring us back up when we call. Do not meditate on your past failures but on your successes and future victories you are to enjoy to His glory. Focus your mind on God fulfilling your desires as you exercise faith in His Word (Mark 11:22,23,24,25).
So this is why Mark 11: 22-25 is your victory. When you understand this you will not be praying over and over for the same thing. Your weapon of words that are in agreement with God's Word is you putting on the armor God has provided. The Word of God covers all aspects of life. Then, stand your ground until you see it's manifestation displayed. It is hope realized, first in the spiritual realm and then in the physical realm. Your joy is full when your prayers are answered (John 16:23 & 24).
